We are pleased to announce a new community program to assist parents in dealing with the drug problem facing their children today.  Studies show how beneficial drug-testing can be in identifying possible use or abuse as early as possible – it can prevent drug dependence and help drug-dependent kids become drug-free kids.  It is recommended that when parents suspect possible drug or alcohol use, they have their children tested by surprise.  Quality, reliable and accessible testing must be used; however, such certified laboratory analysis can be expensive at a cost of over $50 per test.  Now, the Parental Duty Program can help by offereing a 10-Panel home drug test (with built-in adulterant test) at a substancially discounted price for such a quality test.  All parents can email us at:

                     parentalduty@naiveprogram.org

for information on how to have the reliable 10-Panel, complete home drug test kit (with built-in adulterant test) shipped directly to your home for only $10.00 (or only $5.00 for Middletown Township residents).

Due to funding being provided by various Middletown organizations, the drug test kits are cheaper for Middletown residents.  Assistance in funding was provided  from the NAÏVE Program (www.naiveprogram.org), the Middletown Community Foundation (www.middletowncf.org), and the Township of Middletown (www.middletowntwpbucks.org)

Benefits of drug testing your children:

ü       Testing provides kids with a reason to say, “No” when approached to use drugs – enough to make some kids stop using drugs or never start in the first place.

ü       Early testing is critical to deter drug use because kids become addicted more rapidly than adults, and recovery is harder.

ü       Testing gives parents an opportunity for intervention and/or treatment.

ü      Testing of school-age children is critical because kids on drugs can’t learn as well.  Testing helps create safe and drug-free learning environments.

ü       Testing is a tool to deter drug use and get drug education or counseling when needed – it helps straighten out some kids’ lives!
