Not everyone wants to get involved in the same way. Here are different options to encourage others to get involved in our cause.

Volunteer Your Time

If you would like to join NAIVE by volunteering your time and energy, please get in touch with us on the "Contact Us" page.  You may also want to contact some of the other agencies listed in our "Forum & Links" page to volunteer your time.

Schedule a NAIVE Presentation for your group or register for an Upcoming Event

There are some NAIVE Presentations listed under "NAIVE Schedule" page.  Please let us know if you or a group are coming to the presentation so we know can make arrangements for the amount of guests.  Or if you would like to schedule a NAIVE Presentation for your group, please let us know.

Start a Chat in Our Forum

Encourage others to think about topics concerning drug, alcohol and violence issues by posting a message in the NAIVE Forum in the "Forum & Links" page.  Feel free to ask an anonymous question or start a conversation.  Sharing your ideas and thoughts helps you and others deal with troubling matters.  Through this form of open conversation, you may help someone else find an answer they needed to a question they were afraid to ask.

Make a Donation

If you would like to donate to our NAIVE program to help us defray the costs involved in bringing this material to others, you can make a tax deductible charitable contribution through an established non-profit organization - the Middletown Community Foundation.  Please refer to the "Donations / Sponsors" page for more information on how to help us financially and see a list of our sponsors.

Write a Letter or Sign a Petition

NAIVE will post several items of proposed legislation and information on how and who to contact to help change some laws or pass new ones in order to help accomplish our goals.  This information will be in the "Legal Issues" page along with contact information for your representatives.  There will be petitions to sign electronically and also ones to mail to local legislators.  These topics will cover topis from the legal age of consent to insurance coverage options for treatment.  This information will change as we receive it - so stay tuned to NAIVE for updates!

Show your Appreciation

If you have seen a NAIVE presentation and thought it was a worthwhile experience, maybe you can simply relay words of encouragement to the people involved in the program.  Emails will be forwarded to the members of NAIVE.  The mothers do a difficult thing by speaking about their painful experiences.  Please also feel free to write letters to schools, PTOs, civic groups and other organizations to spread the word about our program.
